Jeremy DeVries began his guiding career on the Madison, Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers while in college in 1994.   He recieved a degree in psychology from Montana State University (Go Bobcats) and moved to the Bighorn River in 1997.  He currently lives in Billings, MT with his wife Kori.  Together they have 2 sons, Cole an Ryan. 

Jeremy is a guide with an outgoing and friendly demeanor.  He makes any guest feel right at home.   He is a skilled fly casting and wing shooting instructor who can challenge even the most discerning sportsmen, but he understands that having FUN is the most important part of any trip.    Jeremy enjoys sharing Montana with duck hunters and fly fishermen of all skill levels from around the world.   

Jeremy was a 40 Under 40 Award winner in Billings and has been featured on ESPN and Fox Outdoors multiple times.   He was the head guide and outfitter for an Orvis Endorsed lodge for 10+ years (Orvis Lodge of the Year in 2007).  You may see his comments and hunting advice in Wildfowl and DU magazines, as well as other several other publications.   Jeremy has over 3600 professional guide days on his personal resume.     

In 2009, Jeremy retired from guiding fly fisherman full time and opened an insurance agency in Billings, MT.  DeVries Insurance is an agency  focused primarily on large group health insurance and that occupies most of the year.  However, duck season is what feeds his soul!  Jeremy and his team of top notch waterfowl professionals host hand selected groups of duck and goose hunters October thru January each year.
